Here is your weekly dose of Friday Five, a list of what I’m pondering and exploring. Feel free to forward this along to friends.
Biggest discovery since the transistor?
The scientific community is hailing the supposed discovery LK-99, a room temperature superconductor. The discovery of which is going to have wide-ranging implications from fusion energy, quantum computers, maglev trains, batteries, electric wires - basically everything.
HackerNoon has a great article about the implications.
Naval has a list of accounts to follow if you want to live updates about the situation. It’s really wild - we see the scientific breakthrough playing out in real time (+ the drama!)
What I am (re)watching
Death Note is one of my favourite animes - and I am rewatching the show with my wife! If you haven’t watched any animes ever and want to get started - this would be a good place to get started.
High school student Light Yagami discovers a supernatural notebook that allows him to kill anyone by writing their name in it. Guided by the notebook's god, Ryuk, Light attempts to create a utopia by eradicating criminals, leading to a high-stakes game of cat and mouse with the genius detective "L."
Keynote I gave
I recently gave a Keynote speech in Startup Summit Bangladesh. I spoke about how Bangladeshi startups should be embracing SaaS for International Success and how we can unlock the global potential of startups.

Music I am listening to
My wife found this great Bangla song by Firoze Jong. Love the retro vibes.
Quote I am pondering
“The trouble with having an open mind, of course, is that people will insist on coming along and trying to put things in it.”
― Terry Pratchett, Diggers
Which of the bullet above is your favorite? What do you want more or less of? Other suggestions? Please let me know.
Just send a tweet to @realElius and put #FridayFive at the end so I can find it.
Have a wonderful weekend, all!
