These policies apply to all books and items sold through this store for delivery within Bangladesh, and to all content on this website. Books and items purchased through Amazon.com are governed by Amazon’s own Shipping, Returns, and Privacy policies. For any Amazon order, please refer to Amazon.com and your Amazon account for delivery, returns, and data handling.

Terms of Service and Sale

By using this website or placing an order, you agree to these policies. These terms cover every book and item sold through this store and all content published on this website.

Currency
Prices are shown in US Dollars (USD) and Bangladeshi Taka (BDT). You pay in the currency displayed at checkout for your order.

Order acceptance
We confirm your order once payment or Cash on Delivery is arranged. We may cancel and fully refund an order in cases of pricing errors, stock shortages, or suspected fraud.

Payment methods
We currently accept two payment methods:

• Cash on Delivery (COD): You pay in cash when your item is delivered.

• bKash: You pay through bKash at the time of order.

Use of this website
All content on this website is provided for your personal, non-commercial use. By using the site, you agree to use it lawfully and to respect the intellectual property terms set out below.

Shipping Policy

This shipping policy covers direct orders delivered within Bangladesh only. Orders placed on Amazon.com follow Amazon’s shipping terms and timelines.

Where we ship
We ship anywhere within Bangladesh.

Delivery timelines

• Inside Dhaka: maximum 5 days from order confirmation.

• Rest of Bangladesh: maximum 7 days from order confirmation.

How it works
Once your order is confirmed, we process and dispatch it as quickly as possible. You receive a confirmation when your order ships. If your order arrives later than the maximum time for your location, you are entitled to a full refund. See our Refund Policy below.

Delays during high demand
During periods of high order volume, shipping may take longer than the timelines above. When this happens, your order is placed in a queue and processed in turn. If your order is queued and you prefer not to wait, you may cancel it by emailing us at contact@hmelius.com, and we will issue a full refund.

Lost parcels
If the courier loses your parcel and the loss is confirmed, we treat the order as undelivered and attempt delivery again with a new shipment.

Cancellation Policy

After you order
Cancellation is available in two situations only:

• Change in delivery address: contact us to update the address on your order.

• Change in order amount or items: contact us to adjust your order.

For all other cases, orders are final once placed and stay in effect through delivery.

Exception for queued orders
If your order is delayed and placed in a queue during high demand, you may cancel it for a full refund by emailing contact@hmelius.com.

Refund and Return Policy

This refund and return policy covers direct orders only. Refunds and returns for Amazon.com purchases are handled by Amazon under its return policy, through your Amazon account.

Late delivery refunds
If your item arrives later than the promised timeline (5 days inside Dhaka, 7 days elsewhere in Bangladesh), you are entitled to a full refund. Email us at contact@hmelius.com with your order number.

Damaged products
If your item arrives damaged, email us within 7 days of delivery with your order number and a photo of the damage. You may choose a replacement or a full refund.

All other cases
All sales are final. We accept returns for items that arrive damaged, as described above.

Digital goods
Digital products, including any ebook edition, are final. Digital goods carry no refund and remain non-returnable once purchased.

How refunds are processed
Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method within 7 to 10 business days. COD orders receive a cash refund, and bKash orders receive a bKash refund.

Privacy Policy

When you buy through Amazon.com, Amazon collects and handles your data under its own privacy policy. This section covers only the information you give us through direct orders and your use of this website.

When you place an order, we collect your name, delivery address, phone number, email address, and the payment details needed to fulfill your order.
